THURSDAY 25th OF JULY - 17:30 HSome of our tennis players and college coaches
will explain their experiences in USA.
“We want College Tennis Showcase 2019 to be a unique event and, so we will have it full of activities, meetings and informative speech for tennis players and their parents”
In the showcase we will have some of our tennis players that are right now in USA living this amazing experience on a tennis scholarship, some that are close to start this amazing experience or some that have already graduated in an American University. We will talk about topics that normally families and tennis players have doubts about it:
- They will help with key points in the process and give some advices for the people that is starting the process.

Will explain how was the decision of the university and why.
- How was the arrival in USA.
- Will talk about the day to day at the university and tennis team.
- Information about the tennis competition in college.
- What is the best part of this experience and the worst part.
What is the best way of solving all doubts than talking with our tennis players?
WHEN AND WHERE?
Presentation will take place in Thrusday 25th July in social building at RACE tennis club in Madrid.
We will start at 17:30, we advice everyone to confirm assistance and arrive 15 minutes earlier.

- 19:00h – Introduction and experiences of our tennis players that are close to start this experience.
- 19:30h – Introduction and experiences of our tennis players that have graduated in an American university.

Rocio de la Torre
Former pro tennis player (347 WTA)
Rocio has an amazing resume, her best WTA ranking was 347 singles and 320 doubles. She has played 2 times Mutua Madrid Open tournament and she has couple of ITF titles like Madrid, Melilla or Coimbra among others.
Rocio is the only tennis player from Madrid that has won 6 years in a row open regional championship.
In the national ranking she was ranked as high as 11 in Spain and she also has won the Spanish Universities championship.
