WHAT IS COLLEGE TENNIS SHOWCASE?
It is an event in which any tennis player can play UTR matches in front of college tennis coaches and get a tennis scholarship in USA.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Tennis players interested in getting a tennis scholarship in USA with ages between 15 to 20 years old (contact us for other ages).
WHEN AND WHERE?
The showcase will take place in Madrid, at Ciudad de la Raqueta. On dates 20th to 23rd JULY 2023.

COLLEGE TENNIS SHOWCASE (SPAIN)
- College Tennis Showcase is an event in which any tennis player from any part of the world, can show their tennis talent playing in front of college tennis coaches and get a tennis scholarship in USA.
- In the edition of College Tennis Showcse 2019, participated 23 american coaches and 83 players from 8 different countries (Spain, Mexico, UK, Australia, Germany, Turquey, Bulgary and Austria)
- In the edition of College Tennis Showcase 2021, participated 322 coaches (virtual showcase), 4 coaches in person and 130 players from 10 different countries.
- In the edition of 2022 participated 336 coaches and 30 in person coaches together with 124 players (we limited the draws) from 13 different countries.
- Tennis coaches will be coming from all leagues in USA (NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA)
- Thanks to the showcase we want to bring closer to the families the american system so they can see it in person and ask questions or doubts.
- The Showcase will be formed by short tennis matches in singles and doubles that will count on the UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) which is one of the most important ratings to get a tennis scholarship in USA.
- Tennis college coaches will have before the event the profiles of every single tennis player playing in the showcase. So they can analyze them and will have the contact information. At the showcase, they will be checking players, meeting with players and offering scholarships in case you fit on their preferences.
- Also we will have activities like informative speech by our staff, college tennis coaches and actual and former college tennis players.
WHY SHOULD I COME?
- Open to all tennis players (working with any agency or not working with any agency) all are welcome to the showcase.
- You will be able to show your tennis level in person to college tennis coaches and get a tennis scholarship in USA.
- You will get rated on the UTR (considered one of the most important recruiting tools by college coaches). You will play at least 3 official matches.
- Our staff will be at the event to help you with anything needed.
- Receive information about tennis scholarships in USA, speech from recruiting companies, college tennis coaches, former and actual tennis players…
- You will meet tennis players from other locations in the same situation.
- You will have the personal profile ready to use with the coaches.
- Tennis matches recorded during the event.

VIRTUAL COLLEGE TENNIS SHOWCASE
Due to COVID this year 2021 the College Tennis Showcase will adopt a new online version that will benefit the players and coaches.
- In year 2021 we had 322 coaches registered for the virtual showcase. Lot of universities doesn’t have the budget to travel to Europe so thanks to this new format they can watch the players from home.
- ALL matches will be recorded.
- ALL coaches will have access to the profiles and full matches of the players from USA and could contact any player they like.
- ALL players in the showcase will have all the information about the universities in our software.
- Interested coaches will contact players and meet them virtually and show them the campus on a virtual tour.
College Tennis Showcase is an official UTR event. Do you know what is UTR?
- UTR is really popular in college tennis and the first indicator that college coaches checkwhen reacruiting tennis players to give them a tennis scholarship in USA.
- UTR is between 1.00 and 16.50 pointsand it has everyone on the same rating regardless of gender and age.
- UTR is global and same in all countries, so this is why it is easier for coaches to evaluate level of tennis players from every countryunder the same rating.
- UTR uses an algorithm that is calculatedin base of level of the oponentand final score. It counts every game won or lost.
- The higher the UTR the better the optionsyou will have to get a tennis scholarship in USA.
- In conclusion, UTR reflects real level of tennis playersinregardless of age, gender or country.
- You can get UTR at our College Tennis Showcase. Also you will play several matches which will allow you to improve it and coaches will see it in person.

WHERE WILL IT BE THE COLLEGE TENNIS SHOWCASE 2023?
Ciudad de la Raqueta will be the official club of the College Tennis Showcase 2023.
This is a modern club in Madrid in the area of Montecarmelo. They started in November 2009 and has a total of 39 courts of tennis and padel. A total of 20 tennis courts (10 indor clay and 10 outdor hard court) They play all different level tournaments from amateur to WTA and ATP, also it counts with a big stadium of tennis and padel. The rest of facilities they hace a big restaurant and cafeteria, tennis shop, swimmingpool and lot of event rooms.
